Mawlawi Abdul Wali Adel, Finance and Administration Deputy of the National Development Corporation (NDC), who spoke at a joint press conference at the Information and Media Center of the Islamic Emirate on Tuesday, said that the company has been completed 394 projects from the total number of projects.
In addition to the completing of 394 projects in different sectors, from the beginning of the practical work of Qosh Tipeh canal, the completion of 3 blocks of Shahrak-e-Bagrami and the beginning of Bagrami project, Shahrak-e-Ghaznavi and Shahrak-e-Laleh were the major achievements of the NDC.
Mr. Riyazuddin Sharifi, Coordinator of Production and Trade Affairs Deputy of the NDC, also said in the continuation of this press conference: If the project donor offices, make the implementation budget available to the NDC, this company will also complete 745 ongoing projects.
He mentioned the completion of the Qosh Tipeh canal project in five years, the construction of the Hairatan industrial agricultural complex and the construction of a new cement production factory in the Ghori cement factories as the most important future plans of the NDC.
According to the Coordination of Production and Trade Deputy of NDC, 1,700 acres of land, 12 repairs, 111 shops and a market have been returned from the hands of usurpers and powerful people in benefit of the NDC.
He added that the NDC had settled about 80 percent of its tax liabilities and about 24.7 billion Afghanis had been paid to the company’s debtors and facilitators.
